About this item
A bed frame will provide you with storage space underneath the bed and/or make it easier to clean. A hardwood floor is hard to mop if you have a bare mattress on it. It helps keep you a little warmer by keeping the mattress off the floor. It helps to give the mattress ventilation, keeping it from becoming musty. Since getting up off the ground is a harder task when you grow older.
Larger beds are commonly considered from a new frame of a queen size bed and up. It is only fair and reasonable to conclude that the mattress would require more protection, which is what the frame offers, as the mattress grows larger in size. There will be support along the sides of most beds larger than a queen-size, as well as a center support frame.
